Club AGM – 4th December and Chairmans Challenge shoot

Sunday 4th December2016 is Broadland’s AGM & Chairman’s Challenge. AGM at Plantation Park starting at 09.30 sharp followed by a bite to eat and then the Chairman’s Challenge  shoot. Plantation Park is where the Committee meets on the first Monday of every month. We have an eight person committee with four people standing down each year, this year it is Martin Kirrage, Mark Johnson, Paul Smith and Derek Mansi all four have expressed the wish to stand for re-election. Christina, through other commitments has resigned half way through her two years, David Elvin has been a very active co-opted member and has expressed the wish to stand for election. Please come along and have your vote and have your say. The Chairman’s Challenge is an annual event, open to all paid up club members and there is a handicapping system to level the playing field. Once again just ask for more information.

Workparty 20th November

We will be tidying up the site, sweeping leaves and clearing the roadway plus generally picking up twigs etc. We will likely give the grass a final trim and maybe even do a bit of strimming. So if you could bring brooms, rakes, a barrow or garden bag or whatever it will make things easier. Obviously the grass cutting and strimming will depend on the weather. Many hands make light work!
