Don’t forget we will hold our annual BBQ after the shoot so be prepared for Pete and Pauls cooking skills ( any volunteers to help will be glady accepted). Usual fare of burgers, sausages, egg and bacon with tea and coffee available as well. Maybe some cake if you are all good. Dont forget to bring a folding chair if you have one. If you wish to bring a guest just let us know so we can cater correctly. Husband, wife, boyfriend , girlfriend, mothers-in-law are all welcome.
Mark and Kathy Johnson travelled down to Midshires ground near Biggleswade and took part in their Open shoot. A very enjoyable day was had with the weather being very kind. All who have been to Midshires will know they are famous for the wind due to the open nature of their site but today most targets required only the edge of the hit zone. Did you know they have a pond behind the mound? Nor did we! 2 lanes were shot across the pond with ranges between 40-50 yards and a couple of shorter reducers which made a nice change. Mark took first place in AA grade with a 37/40 and Kathy scored 34/40 but just failed to take a place in A grade.
Many thanks to all who set out the course.

Can we ensure that all target posts are taken in on the meadow range at the end of each Saturday. This allows the mowing crew to get on with cutting grass rather than pulling posts out. Also ensure all target stakes are collected as they are deadly if caught in the mower then thrown out at high speed into someones body. Damage to the mower will also occur.
